Introduction to Online Courses

The courses listed below are offered online through the Center for Mindful Inquiry. Each of these courses integrates the theory and practice of mindfulness and a variety of ways to apply them to daily life and professional contexts.

Using Moodle conferencing, students have 24/7 access to the course they have enrolled in for the duration of the course. Students have the ability to ask the teacher questions on a regular basis and to talk about mindfulness practice, readings and their applications to daily life and work contexts in small discussion groups.

Principles and Practices of Mindful Leadership

As a teacher, teacher educator, or administrator, it is important to develop personal internal skills that translate into successful interpersonal skills on the job. Mindful leadership introduces a new approach to leadership development that focuses on how a leader works in the moment. This course introduces participants to ten core principles and to three mindfulness practices that help leaders bring out the best in themselves and others.
