A balanced mind, a mind that is happy, kind, and free, can be cultivated through skillful application of core teachings and mindfulness meditation practices found in Buddhist Psychology and Philosophy. Presentations by the instructors, study of relevant literature, as well as first-person practice and experience form the basis for discussing clinical applications of a psychology of liberation. The core texts are Happiness, by Matthieu Ricard and Pay Attention by Sylvia Boorstein, supplemented by podcasts and journal articles.
